Join us for a relaxed morning walk through the woods as we explore the historic Jolly Rand Trail in Exeter.

Jolly Rand follows a former cart path through peaceful woodlands, crossing brooks and winding through the Kimball Reserve/RiverWoods area. The Town of Exeter describes the trail as well marked and an easy out-and-back walk, making this a great opportunity to enjoy some time outside without a strenuous hike.

We'll walk at a comfortable, unhurried pace, taking time to enjoy the scenery, conversation and quiet moments along the way. This isn't a guided walking meditation โ€” simply a chance to slow down, get some fresh air and spend time together in nature.

๐Ÿฅพ About the Walk

  • Approximately 1.8 miles
  • Easy to moderate
  • Mostly wooded trail along a former cart path
  • Some brook crossings and natural, uneven terrain
  • We'll allow approximately 1โ€“1ยฝ hours so we don't need to rush

๐Ÿ“ Where We'll Meet
We'll meet at the Jolly Rand Trail access on Pickpocket Road in Exeter, NH, just off Route 111 toward Kingston. The trail entrance is on the right shortly after turning onto Pickpocket Road.
Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged when possible.

### What to Bring

Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes and dress for the weather. Bring water and bug spray if needed.

๐ŸŒง๏ธ Weather
This is a weather-dependent event. If rain or poor trail conditions make the walk unsuitable, we'll reschedule.
