What we’re about
Do you enjoy weekday outdoor activities? Skiing, Biking, etc?
Initially, this group will be to arrange some last-minute single-day or multi-day outings to ski resorts, such as Gunstock and the White Mountains.
When the weather forecast and the snow conditions are good, I will announce an outing. If we get two or more participants, we can carpool from Dover or Portsmouth to the southern edge mountain.
Open to anyone who is retired or otherwise available on weekdays.

Stroll along the ocean front.
Lots of trails to choose from. Some of the trails are narrow, with gravel or rocks, while others are broad and paved. No hills unless you want to climb the WWII embankments. The group can decide which trails to take.
Meet at the main parking lot. (It's the paved lot; the "boat launch" parking lot is unpaved.) Day use fee, including parking, is $4. Free for NH residents 65 and over. (For free entry, they might require you to show your driver's license.)
History: Odiorne Point was used by Native peoples for centuries before European arrival. In 1623, it became the location of Pannaway Plantation. In 1660, John Odiorne, a fisherman from Portsmouth, purchased land at the point, beginning nearly 300 years of Odiorne family ownership. In 1942, the U.S. government seized the land to construct Fort Dearborn.
