AND WE'RE BACK!! New Year. New set of nature connections walks.

Join me at the Waterboro Barrens Preserve for a walk in the woods. We'll cover some ground, stop to look at the wildlife tracks, talk about this unique ecosystem and get to know each other along the way. As the day approaches we'll know more about the trail conditions. As it looks right now you'll probably want some sort of cleat or micro-spike(I have some extras to share). Dress in layers and consider bringing some water with you.

About your guide: Ryan Busby has spent his life exploring the natural world in many ways. Whether it was on skis, running trails, following wildlife tracks, spending nights in a debris shelter practicing survival skills or observing patterns in the landscape on his farm in Alfred, he lets curiosity be his teacher. Nature has many lessons to teach us and over the last 10 years Ryan has led thousands of folks through the landscapes of Maine and New Hampshire to discover a deeper connection between themselves and nature. Ryan runs a handyman service (Busby Home Services) and Shake the Tree Farm which produces eggs, meat, fruit and herbs.

This walk is free and open to anyone. Donations accepted but not expected. Please keep your rsvp updated so I know how many people to expect.
