Give & Take: Harvest Swap

Details

It's harvest season!

Probably you have more coming in of something than you can use... but maybe there are other crops that haven't done well for you that you'd love to swap for. And what kinds of tomatoes or beans or potatoes are you growing that you want to let others know about?

Let's come together to redistribute our food wealth, offer each other new things to try and strengthen the sharing economy!

We also welcome items that don't quite fit our theme but would likely appeal to people in this group such as: homemade soap, gardening books, etc.

Please be on time so you won't miss the introductions when everyone explains what they are offering. This is an important part of the process. No one goes home empty handed and everyone usually leaves with more than they came with, through some sort of swapping magic! The process takes about 90 minutes depending on the number of participants.

COST: Suggested donation of $1-10 payable at the event.

This event is also part of NH Eat Local Month, a month-long campaign in August that celebrates local food and farming in the Granite State. Find out more about the statewide events at https://nheatlocal.org/
