Natural Goatkeeping Group: Spring!

Details

It is spring on the farm, so let's discuss: birthing, kids, milking and more. Please bring questions, stories, and issues you have been struggling with to see if we can offer ideas and help to each other, on any goat issues.

Interested in keeping goats? Join us! The purpose of the Natural Goatkeeping Group is to learn from and support each other in trying out holistic and permaculturally-minded methods of keeping goats. Meet our goats (including this year's kids!) and see how we're doing it.

COST: Donations to Seacoast Permaculture in any amount are asked for at the event.

If you also keep animals, remember to bring clothes, especially shoes, that aren't your regulars for the barn in order to minimize the risk of spreading disease.

ABOUT THE NATURAL GOATKEEPING GROUP:

You don't have to have goats to join us, just an interest in learning.

The purpose of the Natural Goatkeeping Group is to learn from and support each other in trying out more holistic / permaculturally-minded methods of keeping goats. We come together with an open mind and many questions to find information, try new methods and encourage organic, natural, working-with-nature ways of keeping these animals for better health for ourselves, our goats and our planet.

We especially want to encourage goatkeeping in NH because so many of us have land that is well suited to goats - they are a very appropriate homestead animal for consideration here.
