Summer Potluck and Ice Cream Social

Celebrate Summer with Seacoast Permaculture members! Featuring fabulous food, a farm tour, live music by 9 Lb Hamster band, and great company!

Please bring: a light dinner item to share with a short description of the item, before we get to our desserts; your own beverage or container for water; your potluck kit (plate, bowl, cup, utensils, cloth napkin); a name tag for yourself that you happen to have one.

We also encourage people to bring homemade ice cream (or frozen yogurt, sorbet, etc.) - our board members will provide at least a couple of pints and it's appreciated by all if there are multiple interesting flavors we can share and sample!

Cost: There is a fee required to reserve your spot. If paying through Meetup/paypal, the cost is $10.00. If paying by check, the cost is $8. Please see our fee statement below.

The funds will support us and Tuckaway Farm's community space: Emerson House at Tuckaway Farm is a new indoor/outdoor community space on a working farm available at tiered rental rates for mission-related (agriculture/gardening, environment, health and well being, social justice, etc) activities including workshops, presentations, and meetings. Our goal is to both share and support this space as a resource for healthy agriculture and community in the Seacoast.

Fee statement: As the online economy continues to evolve rapidly, we at Seacoast Permaculture feel there is value in keeping money local. So, we have decided to offer a small discount to our members who pay with check or cash to encourage these forms of payment. With these, 100% of the money goes toward supporting our operations, events, and community work. You also aren't charged the extra meetup fee, so save even more than $2!

While Permaculture is about food growing, land use, energy, etc, it is also about building community and strengthening our connections with each other. We offer programming that honors and builds that aspect of our group and our lives. We hope you'll join us!
