Design & Mapping Tour of GreenFleece Farm

Details
Learn about integrating permaculture ethics, principles & design elements in our work with the land in order to expand habitat diversity, support human and animal life and plan for the future. Deb Ganster, certified Permaculture Designer, will discuss how to creatively work with a site and implement the basics of permaculture-informed design as an ongoing process as we tour GreenFleece Farm, her 40 acre off grid farm established in 1995.
You will get an overview of the design process, including basemapping, with this site as an example. Deb sees permaculture is an experience, so physically experiencing a balanced system while also noting problems and challenges can offer deeper integration of this system of design. Handouts also provided for further reflection.
COST: sliding scale of $20-40 per person. Deposit of $10 paid ahead of time here on paypal or by check: Seacoast Permaculture, 219 France Rd, Barrington NH 03825.

After earning her permaculture design certification in 2010, she is gradually integrating the ethics, principles and practices of permaculture design at her off grid farm in South Berwick ME. In her free time, she is a bookworm and she pursues fiber art projects using the material abundance from her sheep, rabbits, llamas and plants from her gardens and surrounding fields and forest.
