Permaculture Principles in Your Garden

Although the principles of permaculture can be applied in many different circumstances, the garden is a great place to use them and to learn about them. Join us to delve into both the principles and good gardening practices.

Permaculture (from permanent agriculture, as well as permanent culture) is an approach to designing food producing and human supporting systems in truly sustainable and ecological ways, mimicking natural systems. It has proven to be very successful in farming and gardening.

PRESENTER: Amy Antonucci worked on an organic farm & CSA for 10 years before becoming a certified permaculture designer and focusing on homesteading. She keeps poultry, goats and gardens at Living Land Permaculture Homestead in Barrington NH ( http://livinglandpermaculture.com/ ) with her partner. She is the main organizer for the Seacoast NH Permaculture Group and was proud to be named NOFA-NH's Leading Gardener of 2017 and Mentor of the Year in 2022. She has spoken at libraries, schools, garden clubs, at the NOFA-NH winter conference, and been interviewed on the radio.
