As we become more resilient and provide for our needs closer to home, let's remember to plant for health care as well as food.

In this class we'll meet and discuss ten of Amy's favorite herbs to use for health. The focus will be on simple, safe uses from easy to grow plants. We'll learn about the properties of each plant, how to grow them, and ways to use them both for your health and as permaculture landscape supporters.

Here are a few of the herbs that we'll definitely meet: Calendula, Comfrey, Nettle, Echinacea, and Motherwort.

COST: sliding scale of $15-40. A nonrefundable deposit of $10 will hold your place. Please bring cash or check to pay the rest.

LED BY: Amy Antonucci has been studying and using herbal medicine for 30 years with herbalists including Susun Weed, Rosemary Gladstar and Deb Soule. The plants themselves are often her best teachers.
