Multifamily Policy & Incentive Programs w/ Ryan Pope
Details
Ryan Pope will review data related to housing stock and affordability within the City of Dover before switching gears into a discussion of the policy approaches available to address the issue. Their overarching goal is to solicit candid feedback from a community of current and prospective small-scale real estate investors who are often overlooked in the solution making process. The fact of the matter is that most of our rental housing stock consists of privately owned multifamily buildings, and yet very few incentive programs exist to support local landlords. They would like to better account for this perspective in our policy making to ensure a more balanced approach, and open the door to continued dialogue.
