After Work Walk - Stratham Hill Park in Stratham, NH With Optional Dinner After

Details

Let's go for a low key walk after work. Stratham Hill Park has a big parking lot, and we will meet there by 5 pm. We can walk the perimeter trail, which is around 4 miles, with the option of walking up to the Fire Tower, which has great views of the surrounding area. While a rail trail would be considered easy walking, I'd classify this as moderate walking as there are rocks, roots, and some little elevation gains. I tested this out after work, and the entire walk plus fire tower took me two hours.

I'll be there at 4 pm and I'll throw up a camping chair and wait for you all. The latest we can wait is like 5:15 pm because of daylight, so try to get there early or by 5 pm.

The address is: 270 Portsmouth Ave, Stratham, NH 03885

A lot of people hike, run, or bike in this park, and there is an impressive network of trails.

Bring good shoes, water, and whatever you need to feel comfortable walking in the woods for a couple miles. You should have cell phone service. After, if people are interested, we can go grab a bite to eat in Newmarket or Portsmouth. I'm open to wherever people are feeling. Or, we can skip dinner and just head home after. Again, these after work walks are low-key and just a chance to go for a walk and be social.

If it's going to rain pretty heavy, I'll cancel the event, so be sure to check this page before you head out.

Feel free to message me for questions or concerns.

Hope to see you there!
