Sunflower Festival at Coppal House Farm in Lee, NH with Optional Dinner After

Details

Let's go to the Sunflower Festival at Coppal House Farm in Lee, NH. I live down the road from this and miss the two week window for the sunflower bloom every year. 😂 Well, not this year! My weekends are booked for these two weeks, so I can only do a weekday date with this event. If you can't make this date, they do do more and have live music on the weekend dates, so I encourage you to visit the farm on your own or with others. I checked it out, and the farm is quite cute. There is a farmstand with drinks and local food goods.

Only RSVP if you have bought your ticket already and only buy a ticket if you see space on the RSVP list

I bought the general admission ticket (10am-6pm) for the day, which totaled to $9.60. The ticket is good until 6:00 pm. I know not everyone can get here at 4:00 pm, so feel free to come when you can and find us or message me. The food trucks close at 4 pm. I'll probably be there around 3:30 pm to check stuff out, so feel free to come early. We will meet at 4 pm at the entrance to the sunflower field. After that, you can find us in the field or under the tent.

People come from far and wide to take photos amid the fields of sunflowers here. It's kind of hilarious. So, let's lean into this and go and take pictures for each other amid the sunflowers! 🤣 From what I've read, the farm has fields of sunflowers and a tent with chairs, food trucks (the food trucks close at 4 pm), and animal viewing.

The world is stressful sometimes, so I want this event to just be a chance for us to let our hair down (says the bald dude) and a chance for us to be silly and hang out and take pictures for each other.

You guys are usually game for my little challenges. So, I'm going to challenge you all to a photo contest while we're there. We will take pics for each other, and at the end, we can vote on the winner of each category below:

  1. Silliest picture

  2. Most artistic photo (the photographer)

  3. Most Wholesome photo

  4. Best Blue Steel

  5. A category you all make up—because you're smarter than me.

Besides bragging rights, I will buy a drink or mocktail for the winner of each category. 🏆

So, Monday looks like another hot one so bring water, a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, good shoes for walking in a field, any food, or whatever you need to be comfortable in high heat. I'll bring a cooler of cold water and seltzers to share.

I am limiting this event, so no guests, please.

***The farm does not allow outside alcohol or dogs on their property.

If you want to hang out after the sunflowers, we can set Telly's Restaurant and Pizzeria as an optional placeholder for a place to grab dinner after. Or we could go to Muddy River Smokehouse, which is becoming a favorite spot for this group. Or you can call it night. This is just an option.

As always, message me with any questions or concerns.

Hope to see you there!
