Welcome to the SEAD-Fund Volunteers group! We are a charity to promote social justice, environmental conservation, and community development -- by supporting community groups. Join us to make a real impact in creating a greener, more sustainable future.
What we do:
We provide mini grants to kickstart community-led projects, in Scotland and around the world. Examples of projects we've supported include tree-planting, children's books for African schools, a women's rock school in Edinburgh, business lessons & start-up funding for female entrepreneurs in Africa, and LGBT support resources in Galloway.
Get Involved!
We are looking for volunteers to manage the applications we receive: Checking out proposals so we can fund them, following up to see how the projects progress, and celebrating good projects on social media.
