Welcome to the London Seafood Cooking Club, a small community for people who enjoy cooking and learning about fish and shellfish.

The group is run by a professional seafood chef and cooking lecturer based in London. Events focus on hands-on cooking sessions where participants learn practical techniques used in professional kitchens.

Typical sessions include:

• how to select and prepare fresh fish
• simple filleting techniques
• cooking shellfish such as scallops and mussels
• pan-roasting fish with crispy skin
• making quick restaurant-style sauces

Classes are kept small to allow everyone to cook, ask questions and enjoy the experience.

Fish is sourced fresh from Billingsgate Market whenever possible, and the sessions also introduce lesser-known and more sustainable species such as coley and pollock.

If you enjoy seafood and want to become more confident cooking fish at home, this group is for you.
