Programming Amazon Echo Apps and IoT with Java and AWS Lambda

Jeff will present an Amazon Echo application written in Java that provides access to sensor data captured by a Raspberry Pi monitoring a seed starting system. It uses the adafruit.io IoT platform for data ingestion and to provide a dashboard. He also hopes to demonstrate a second Java Echo app that provides voice control of an Arduino-driven LED light's behavior, possibly using Amazon's IoT support.
