Seajure Meetup

Details
We are excited to feature Ingy döt Net presenting YAMLScript, a new programming language with a YAML syntax that transpiles to Clojure code. In other words, a new syntax for Clojure. The YAMLScript interpreter is written in Clojure and compiled to a native binary executable. While a general purpose language, its main focus is to make YAML files dynamic. It has binding modules for many programming languages and works like a typical YAML loader in those languages. Ingy is one of the original creators of the YAML data language and its primary maintainer. He hopes to see YAMLScript be a solid answer to the YAML questions, complaints and desires that he’s heard over the years. He also hopes to see YAMLScript expose YAML users to the joys of Clojure! The talk will be around 90 minutes, after which there will be a Q&A.
If you're attending in person, talk to the front desk and ask to be sent up to floor 26.
