Topic: Policy-as-code and Automated Security Operations with Kubernetes in Declarative Cloud deployments

Abstract:
Kubernetes has helped microservices deployments to migrate to a declarative and automated platform, and many organizations have
also migrated to intent-based networking and other infrastructure as code as well. However, many organizations still struggle to
reconcile the artifacts and processes traditionally used for enterprise business and security control, such as
firewalls, IPS/IDS, VM-era policy controllers and other instruments from the era of legacy VM's and monoliths.

We will discuss how agile InfoSec organizations are migrating towards modernizing their security and connectivity processes using
Policy as Code and Zero Trust principles to enable dynamic security operations while still allowing flexible controls for
business rules and compliance.
