New 11-week Traditional Singing Online course starts Wed 14 January 2026, 6-7.15pm and runs til end of April 2026.

Please note - there will be a break in the middle of the course as I'll be away. Course dates are: 14, 21, 28 Jan; 4 Feb; 18, 25 Mar; 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 April

I'm delighted to be offering this 11-week online course in traditional singing. I have a sean-nós (as Gaeilge) course on Tuesdays also available (see separate event for that course), but this Wednesday course may appeal to folks without Irish, who may enjoy learning some of our most beautiful traditional songs. Examples I cover are the likes of 'The High Walls of Derry', 'The May Morning Dew', 'The Parting Glass' and many more fine songs from around the country.

I teach the phrasing, ornamentation via a call and answer method. These courses are great fun & surprisingly sociable even online.
