Dave Julian is returning for his 20th presentation to SEAPUG, he explores creative possibilities unlocked by some of the latest AI-powered and other updates in Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. Attendees will discover how these tools can streamline workflows, expand creative potential, and accelerate photo editing for both amateurs and professionals.
The session includes demos showing how to integrate these features into your photography practice—or even invent entirely new realities using FireFly Ai within Photoshop. There’s a lot to cover in one session, so let’s dive in together and see where these tools and your great questions can take us. Dave is a professional Seattle-based travel and travel photographer, photo-educator and workshop leader. He co-founded SEAPUG in 2008. He is passionate about exploring new avenues for photography and helping others discover their creative potential to improve their craft.
His work has appeared in dozens of publications and online media including Nikon World, Outside, National Geographic Traveler, Islands, After Capture, Outdoor Photographer, Digital PhotoPro, Zoom, Geo and FujiLove. His podcasts include: *This Week in Photography, The Beginning Photography Podcast, The Beginning Photographer, John Cornicello’s Photo Conversations *and nine episodes of Hit the Streets.
Dave leads cultural travel, landscape and street photography workshops in the Pacific NW, Europe, Vietnam, India, Cuba, and for Santa Fe Workshops, Maine Media Workshops, Glazer’s Camera and Kenmore Camera events. Dave is also the lead instructor for the University of Washington Photography Certificate program and has been a Fujifilm X/GFX CREATOR team photographer since 2020.
