Search Technology Meetup - Special event

Details
We’re proud to announce a special edition of the Search Technology Meetup with a lot of great speakers in June. We're happy to welcome Grant Ingersoll, Solr comitter and CTO of Lucidworks and Rafał Kuć, author of the "Solr cookbook" and "Elasticsearch Server" to our meetup!
Talks will be held in English and the location will be announced as soon as possible. We'll start a little earlier so we can squeeze three talks in and leave some room for networking and beer at the end.
There will be free food & drinks sponsored by Shopping24.
(1) Solr Anti-Patters
Rafał points out common mistakes and roads that should be avoided at all costs when dealing with Solr.
Speaker: Rafał Kuć - Sematext Group Inc. - @kucrafal
(2) Imag(in)e Solr
Imagine there would be an open-source approach for a visual more like this search baked into Solr. Well there is: The LIRE library extracts visual features from images that can be easily used for mlt queries. The results may vary but are promising.
Speaker: Torsten Bøgh Köster - CTO Shopping24 - @tboeghk
(3) Solr for Data Science
Search engine technology is rapidly evolving from keyword based look-ups to a highly sophisticated ranking engine capable of incorporating many different features across complex data types. With the release of Apache Solr 5, it is now possible to ask more interesting questions of multi-structured content than ever before. In this talk, we'll explore a number of new and interesting features -- ranging from incredibly easy data ingest to advanced faceting and statistical capabilities, to make data insight easier than ever.
Speaker: Grant Ingersoll - CTO Lucidworks - @gsingers
