What we’re about

SEAS is a group of friendly Sailors. We are here to teach you how to sail and to match Boat Owners with Crew. If you want to learn to sail or are experienced, this an opportunity for you to get out on the water.
We have dock parties in the Spring and Fall. Great food and a great sail. We have been together over thirty five years.
The club owns and sails a 19' O'day Sloop on Greenwood Lake and a 27' Catalina Sloop on the Hudson River in Haverstraw. Our members sail the O'Day and Catalina the rest of the week by reservation. Once completing Basic Sailing Class you can advance in membership and learn Keelboat Handling on the Catalina 27. Haverstraw is above Nyack and is the widest section of the Hudson River (three and one half miles wide).
Our Basic Sailing Class includes four evenings of classroom instruction and two days of sailing instruction on the water to practice what you have learned. Lesson fees are very reasonable.
