Shattemuc Fall Work Party 8:30AM Sat., Nov 8
Please come and help out at the fall work party. Coffee & bagels at 8:30; Pizza lunch after work.
Specific areas requiring attention will be identified Saturday morning, and, as in the past, will probably include
Beach (Cleanup), Attenuator (Maintenance), Gardens (Fall cleanup), General Grounds (Various jobs), and Clubhouse (Various jobs) so there are plenty of opportunities for all.
Wear comfortable and appropriate clothes for outdoor (possibly cold weather) work; please bring your own work gloves
Additionally, for working in the gardens, it would be helpful to bring shovels or spades, garden rakes, leaf rakes, and trowels. A power hedge clipper would greatly facilitate cutting down the grasses. Make sure to label any personal tools that you bring.
Even if you can only help out for an hour, it will help! Shattemuc also relies on volunteers and having SEAS members there helps reinforces our relationship with the club and its members.
