Board Boat Open Sail

Enjoy a practice sail on a Sunfish at Shattemuc (not at Kingsland Point Park). Tobin is dockmaster. Note earlier start and finish times.

Please note:

1. You must be a current paid SEAS Westchester Member. See sailhudson.org. To be a member, you must have passed a SEAS sailing class or have demonstrated equivalent sailing experience. If you passed your SEAS class this year, then you are a member.
2. Please sign up for no more than two future dates at one time, so everyone has a chance to sail.
3. Bring water, hat, clothes appropriate to the weather, shoes to walk on the beach and in the water. Optionally bring sunscreen, PFD, food, eyeglass strap, extra clothes because yours will get wet.
4. If an emergency comes up, contact Tobin. Don't just "no show".
5. We need a minimum of 2 sailors to safely move the boats.
6. Remember to follow the signs in the parking lot and drive slowly. Bathrooms, changing rooms are behind the pool. No one has permission to enter the clubhouse.
