Presenter 1: Tessa Mero
Talk Title: Building APIs the Serverless Way
Talk Description:
With an enormous amount of REST APIs available to use publicly, have you wondered what technologies are behind building an API? Did you know you can build an API using Serverless?
In this presentation, I will go over using Amazon AWS IAM, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Serverless Framework, and Postman to build and launch an API to demonstrate how simple it really is. Demo code will be available so you can test it on your own in a few simple steps.
You’ll walk away from this presentation being able to create your own REST API using serverless technologies.
