Seattle Arab Mixer at Moxy South Lake Union

As we face challenging times in the Middle East, the value of our community shines brighter than ever. We invite you to a special evening at Moxy Seattle on Thursday, February 29th, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. It's a chance to come together as friends and as a community united in our rich Arabic heritage.

Set in the lively and chic Moxy Seattle, especially in their private library room, this mixer is your opportunity to reconnect or forge new bonds. The evening will be filled with engaging conversations, stories, and light appetizers, all set against a backdrop that mirrors the vibrant spirit of the Arab world.

Please note that a contribution of $20 per person is requested to cover hosting and appetizers, with the option to order additional food and drinks. This event is exclusive to Seattle Arab Mixer members, and space is limited, so RSVP early to secure your spot.

Invites & RSVP
If you're uncertain about attending, kindly update your RSVP status. Encourage friends who haven't responded yet to RSVP soon. Opting for "maybe" keeps you on the list, ensuring we count you in our planning. Accurate RSVP numbers are crucial for us to organize the event seamlessly.

Parking
Street parking is available for our event, which takes place after work hours, potentially easing the search. Please note some streets have metered parking until 8pm.

Space
We'll gather in the lobby of the Moxy Hotel, a vibrant and chic venue known for its interactive spaces. There are plenty of spots for relaxing or mingling. Our group will have a private area, yet we'll also move in and out of the hotel's shared lobby space.

Program
To maximize socializing and networking, this event doesn't have a set program. However, Moxy offers a variety of group interactive games, such as shuffleboard, foosball, and giant Jenga, among others. Expect some background music, though, despite my efforts, it will be something other than Arabic.

Food & Drinks
Light appetizers are included with the entrance fee. Purchases can be made directly at the bar for additional food and drinks at your own expense.

Dress Code
Elevate your attire beyond the casual Seattle norm for this event. Opt for something "casually chic" to match the elegant hotel ambiance.

Entrance Fee
For convenience, you can pay the $20 entrance fee at the door using cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Apple Cash. To expedite check-in, please be prepared with one of these payment methods. This fee covers the light appetizers, venue rental, promotion, and hosting costs. If payment is an issue, simply Direct Message me, and I'll mark you as paid, no questions asked.

Photographer Volunteers
We're seeking 3 volunteers to capture the event with their smartphones. Ideal candidates should have a good eye for photography, though amateur skills are fine. To ensure comfort and clarity, you'll receive a photographer badge so attendees know you're part of the team. After the event, please send the photos directly to me. This role lets you enjoy the night fully and mingle even more with the crowd.
