Come and connect around appreciation of the great American art form! The SoulFood Coffeehouse jazz night jam is a casual, all-ages gathering, open to the public. Join in on stage or hang out and listen along.
Brandon McIntosh, of the Seattle Raga Institute, will play drums and host/MC with the able assistance of a fine house band.
Rules of the road for the Soul Food Jazz Jam:
It's a low key, open format session. After an opening set performers are invited to take turns onstage, including rhythm section players. There's a keyboard for pianists and a mic available for vocalists - singers, please bring charts for particular songs and keys. Guitarists will need to provide an amplifier.
Thanks to SoulFood CoffeeHouse for offering the comfy, intimate venue along with fine coffee, non-alcoholic refreshments and tasty treats.
NOTE: Be advised that the City of Redmond has established a 2-hour parking limit along the street at the front of Soul Food, Snapdoodle Toys and Ben Franklin. Beware.
