Seattle Area Shy Dogs!

Hello! Do you have a shy, socially awkward, boundary respectful, or lower energy dog? I do! Her name is Andi, and she is a socially awkward Australian Shepherd who is interested in socializing and respectful of other dogs’ space but gets easily scared and overwhelmed by high energy dogs or dogs who don’t respect hers in turn.

I would love to create a space for awkward or shy dogs to meet up and have their chance to socialize without being jumped on or overwhelmed by more high energy dogs. Your dog doesn’t just have to be low energy or shy, as long as they are well trained to respect other dogs’ boundaries and won’t come in hot and jump all over others. I love high energy dogs as I’ve had a few in my lifetime, but Andi is the antithesis of that and I’d love to create a space for her and other dogs that are afraid of most public dog parks. Shy dogs deserve friends too!

My thought is that we can plan get togethers for our socially awkward dogs so that they can sniff around, interact and maybe learn to play with other dogs who enjoy a lowkey interaction, or just be weird and avoid each other awkwardly. All sizes welcome.
