Seattle Beginner Musician Weekly Practice Sessions

Welcome to Beginner Practice Sessions!

This is a space for beginner musicians to come together and practice performing pieces for each other.

Performing in public can be intimidating, so think of this a stepping stone for getting comfortable playing with others! Intermediate and advanced players are also welcome. :)

Currently, it is hosted at my apartment. I have an upright piano, an acoustic guitar, and a ukulele for use. Other acoustic instruments are welcome!

Tentative Schedule:
6:00 - 6:15PM: arrive
6:15 - 7:00PM: individual pieces
7:00 - 7:30PM: improv jam session, chat, mingle

Some things to know:
- You must play something, even if it's only a few measures!
- Each event will be capped at 10 or fewer for now, so please RSVP!
- Upon arrival, use the callbox to call Richard B (main entrance off 50th St)
- Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages
- We have a dog named Billie who will bark at first, but is a sweetheart and is super friendly!
