Do you have what it takes to rule the known universe? Find out in Dune: Imperium! In this highly acclaimed (Boardgamegeek ranking: #6 overall!) game, you'll gather intrigue cards, troops, money, water, and the spice mélange, then use these resources to gain influence with the four main factions in the universe while gaining points (and other rewards) through conflicts with the other players. The paths to victory are many, but you'll need to balance the demands on your resources with your limited number of actions. When the sand settles, only one of the players can control the desert planet of Dune!
This game is mid-complexity (3.23/5.00), and there will be a teach or refresher if needed. We'll play with the Rise of Ix expansion, which adds some features to the base game, but is easily explainable. Depending on the experience levels of the players, we'll decide whether to include the Immortality expansion.
If we don't get at least three players by the day of, we'll cancel the event.
