The world is falling apart!
Four diseases are sweeping the planet and your team is on the front lines.
Worse yet, one disease has shown signs that it may become resistant to any treatment.
You must work together to develop cures and prevent disease outbreaks,
before the four diseases contaminate humanity. The clock is ticking and you will only have two chances each month to combat the disease before having to rush to the next hot spot!
Can you survive the year and save humanity?
Pandemic Legacy: Season 1 uses Action Points, Hand Management, Multi-Use Cards, Point-to-Point Movement, Set Collection, Trading, & Variable Player Powers. This is a Legacy, co-operative, campaign game, with an overarching story arc played through a minimum of 12 sessions (1 year). You are a team of disease-fighting specialists racing against the clock to travel around the world, treating disease hot spots while researching cures for each of four plagues before they get out of hand.
During a player's turn, they may build structures like research stations, treat diseases, exchange information & resources with other players, or find a cure for a disease. Each player has a unique role with special abilities to help them at these actions.
Over time the epidemic may grow, and can lead to an outbreak, spreading disease even further as well as increasing the panic level of a city, making that city more expensive to travel to.
Each month in the game, you have two chances to achieve that month's objectives. If you succeed, you move on to the next month. If you fail, you have a second chance, with more funding for beneficial events.
Over the course of the year, new restrictions & resources or limitations will occur. Your characters can gain new skills, or handicaps or even be lost entirely!
The host is happy to teach if you haven't played before.
