Don't need to hear about Liam's first steps? Don't care about Jason's struggle with what college to attend? Not interested in the joys of being a grandparent? This group is for women in their middle years or older (from 35 to 90 give or take a few years) who have never been parents, and have no regrets about that. We unapologetically love our childfree status but recognize the societal and peer pressure that comes along with that choice or circumstance. Married, partnered, or single...If you are contentedly childfree and want to socialize with other like-minded women in Seattle, let's get together. Book club? Card/board games? Happy Hour? Wine tasting? The possibilities are limitless (because we don't have to call a sitter)! This is a Meetup by members for members - anyone is encouraged to create a Meetup whenever you have an event for which you would enjoy some company.
Notes: the small annual dues supports the platform cost of our multi-organizer meetup, it is not for profit. You can also bring cash to an organizer and ask them to update your status, if you prefer.
Please read our RSVP policy, found under the Discussion Boards. Put simply, if you cancel or no-show less than 48 hours before a waitlisted event, the organizer may mark you as a no-show and after 3 no-shows, may bar you from participating in their events.
