Pray For Tech - Seattle

Details
Come join us on August 17th for our next Pray For Tech event in Bellevue! Please join us for our first event in 2022 to pray for the tech industry, it's leaders, those work in it, and the impact it has on our world. We gather to pray because we believe that we serve a living and active God who invites us into his story, and that journey often starts with our prayers.
What is this event?
> Pray for Tech is an evening gathering of people praying for the tech industry (its leaders, workers, culture and for the impact it has on our communities). Our next gathering is on August 17th, 2022.
Why is it important?
> The tech industry has unprecedented influence in the world economically, socially and of course spiritually. Our goal is to fulfill 1 Timothy 2:1-4 by praying specifically for tech titans--the leaders and the companies in an industry that generates more than $3.5 trillion in market value from Washington state alone. Beginning with these leaders, we want to pray for the employees, vendors, customers and every other relationship under their sphere of influence that they may lead wisely and justly, using their power for good and--perhaps our most spiritually ambitious request--is that they would be saved according to God’s desire.
Why you should come?
- If you feel a craving for God’s will to be done in and through the tech industry, this is a place where you will meet and pray with like-minded people.
- If you’re feeling called to see God’s Kingdom be reflected in and through the tech industry, this is a place where you can reflect and start to act on what that means.
- If you want to share and hear stories of God’s grace working in and through the tech industry, this is a place for you.
How is this different than church, volunteering, or the prayer groups that already meet at tech companies?
> This event will uniquely bring together Christians from across different companies, backgrounds and vocations, praying together in unity for the tech industry that we are all a part of and seeing the ways that God is at work beyond the efforts of individual churches or prayer groups.
NOTE: Food will be provided. Please RSVP.
