What we’re about
Do you love classical music concerts? Do you get fascinated by symphonies and operas? Or, are you a fan of intimately appealing chamber music? Would you like to discuss about a particular interpretation, share your own experience as a listener or a performer, or put forward your own musical thoughts? Here we are, looking forward to build an active community of friends connected by the love for music. Throughout the year we have an exciting schedule of numerous classical music offerings in the Puget Sound and neighboring areas - ranging from big concerts to little humble recitals. Many of these events go unnoticed from the large audience due to lack of publicity. Yet most of them are as exotic as it could be. Through this community we wish to launch into a treasure hunt for these secret gems. Share the news and recommendations for upcoming performances so that we can make plans to attend. Be it the Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Contemporary - whatever is the style, we are up for it. This is your chance to enjoy the essence of classical music in a fun, casual and spirited atmosphere with a group of like-minded people. All we need is a music lover like you! Please note that all members are require to purchase their own tickets unless otherwise noted.

Hello All,
If you are able, please join us for a performance by the Dover Quartet! After a short, fun opener by Jessie Montgomery, the program launches into one of my personal favorite works: Janáček's String Quartet No. 1. Janáček wrote this piece in under a month based on the psychological Tolstoy Novel The Kreutzer Sonata. It is buzzing with energy in every phrase and musically never let's go until the final phrase. Following is another great Czech work, Dvorak's American Quartet. Rounding out the program is Schumann's String Quartet No. 1 which is modeled after late Beethoven.
For those that don't know, the Dover Quartet is one of the great young quartet's currently performing and always a treat to hear.
Because this is a Sunday, let's plan to meet up afterwards for a bite to eat for those interested!
