Seattle Opera: X, The Life and Times of Malcolm X
Details
Dear Classical Music Lovers,
If you are able, please join us for perhaps one of the most important works coming to the Seattle area this season: Anthony Davis: X, The Life and Times of Malcolm X. This is easily one of the most poignant American operas written in the last 40 years (yes it turns 36 next year!) with a score that features the wide breadth of Davis's style: from jazz colors to spiky dodecaphonic riffs. The story of course centers around the life of Malcolm X. Please note: Seattle Opera is generously offering 20% off discount to this group through the code: HARMONY2324
It is receiving a revival co-produced among others by the MET Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Detroit Opera and others. Come see it with us at the Seattle Opera this February. Plan to meet-up beforehand and during the two intermissions.
