Seattle Code & Coffee @ Capital One Café

Please RSVP ahead of time so we can get an accurate count on coffee.

Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you!

The Intro Circle
Near the beginning of the event (12:30 pm), we do a standup in a circle:

• We first announce organizer announcements, updates, and logistics

Round 1 - (7 secs max):

• Your name
• What you can help others with
• What you would like help with
• Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool.

Round 2:

• Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too.

After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized. We sometimes have FEATURES in a nearby room; checkout those events on Meetup as well.

FREE coffee and snacks ☕️ + 🥐
There will be free pastries, snacks, and hot/iced tea & coffee sponsored by Capital One and provided by Verve Coffee!

🚗 Parking at the Cafe
Free parking is available at the Amazon Houdini Parking Garage, located on Harrison St, two blocks east of the Capital One Cafe. Signs advertising the free parking are usually posted outside the garage entrance. Street parking is also available, and numerous SLU metro/bus stops are nearby.

We will be looking to take photos during the meetup. 📸 Let one of the organizers know if you would rather we not include you in the photos!
