Note: This is a weekday repeat of the Sunday July 10th workshop with the same name!

Ever wondered how the Internet works? How does the global network connect to your home, and what makes Internet access look (and cost) differently in different places?

In this hands-on technology workshop for all ages (bring your family!), we will be discussing these questions as well as how the Seattle Community Network project is trying to make the Internet more equitable and accessible in Skyway by building a public, free wireless 4G LTE network for low-income households, which you can be a part of! We will learn together, tinker with radios and computers, and discuss in small groups.

Part 1 of the Seattle Community Network's DiscoTech (Discovering Technology) Series at Skyway Library. Snacks provided!
