The Seattle Studio Edition with Ashleigh Wilson

We are back for another Studio Edition! This is one of Seattle best photography Studios with natural light, multiple shooting bays, equipment and of course, endless creativity. Ashleigh Wilson, DPW founder and professional dancer from New York City will be hosting this session with three other incredible local dancers.

ABOUT THE SPACE:

This epic 3500 sqft Daylight Photography studio in SODO includes a 20x30ft corner Cyclorama wall and 3 additional shooting bays. A row of east and south facing windows offers beautiful soft window light with translucent drapes for diffusing sunlight. Full blackout curtains are available too.

Each photographer will have the opportunity to shoot one on one with the dancer(s) while simultaneously allowing the other photographers to continue shooting in the other bays.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

There will be four world class dancers at this workshop. First, the photographers will be introduced to the dancers with a number of creative exercises on the Cyc. This will include action shots, balances, poses, jumps, free movement and improvisation. Each photographer will then have the opportunity to lead their own segment and explore their unique artistic vision(s) with the guidance of the host.

During this time the other photographers are welcome to shoot, as long as it's not invasive. For a list of equipment inventory available at the studio, please enquire. We can also provide fabric/props/projector upon request. There is elevator access if you'd like to bring your own equipment. Please note: The workshop is for portfolio, web, artistic and educational purposes only. No commercial release forms are allowed.

Parking: Free & metered street parking as well as nearby parking lot.

Equipment: The studio has equipment for hire, please enquire if interested. Photographers will have access to a loading bay for personal equipment.
