Elixir Hack, Help, or Get Help (virtual #seattle on elixir-lang slack)

This month's hack night will be virtual. We're going to try using Slack's huddle functionality, which allows multiple people to share their screen at the same time. If you're not already part of the elixir-lang slack, it's free to join and you can participate using only a web browser if you prefer.

There will be two virtual hack nights on different days, one in #seattle and one in #portland. Feel free to join either or both depending on which works best for you. They're not meant to be city-specific, just that there's no way to create a joint room huddle so we'll alternate channels.

• Starting at 6pm PST on Tuesday, a huddle will be started in the #seattle channel that you can join.
• Starting at 6pm PST on Thursday, a huddle will be started in the #portland channel that you can join.

You should try to attend if you:

• Are new to Elixir and want to see what it's all about.
• Need help with something you're working on or an idea you have.
• You like listening and helping others, or just want to motivate people.
• Want to discuss the latest happenings in the community.
• Just want something social to do.
