Planning to do Tomyhoi peak which is extension of Yellow Ester Butte trail. This is best time to do it and probably one of the best trails for fall season. We will see some nice ripe wild blueberries and fall colors. It's almost winter in the mountains, bring your warm layers and rain jackets.

If you plan to drive, do check the road condition. Last part of this road is FSR and wasn't in a great shape with people parking on one side.

This trail to Tomyhoi Peak is a challenging but rewarding hike, with stunning views from the top. Along the way, you'll come to a fork in the road that leads to Yellow Aster Butte, so consult your map carefully. After the fork, you'll come to several small lakes, around which there are campsites. At the top, you'll be rewarded with phenomenal views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Shuksan, and Mt. Rainier. The road to the Tomyhoi/Yellow Aster Butte Trailhead is a gravel road.

Suggested carpool fees $5/person/hour of driving (for 4+ occupancy), $7/person/hour of driving (for less than 4 occupants). $15 minimum for the trip! Pay additional for difficult/risky/offroad drives as drivers bear the cost of any damage.
