Join me for a beautiful fall hike to Lake Angeles! This trail takes us through lush old-growth forests to a stunning alpine lake surrounded by rugged peaks. It's a challenging but rewarding day hike with incredible scenery.

๐Ÿš— Transportation & Logistics

  • Carpool Meet: Green Lake Park & Ride (NE 65th St & I-5) - 6:00 AM
  • Ferry Route: We'll take the Edmonds-Kingston ferry
  • Target Ferry: 7:10 AM departure from Edmonds
  • Pit Stop: Longhouse Market & Deli (quick stop for snacks/breakfast)
  • Permit Required: National Park Pass or America the Beautiful Interagency Pass

  • 3 riders per car: $35 per person
  • 2 riders per car: $45 per person
  • Includes both fuel and ferry costs
  • Please bring cash or be prepared to use Venmo/Zelle

  • 6:00 AM โ€“ Meet at Green Lake P&R (organize carpools)
  • 6:15 AM โ€“ Depart for Edmonds ferry terminal
  • 7:10 AM โ€“ Edmonds-Kingston ferry departure
  • 7:40 AM โ€“ Arrive Kingston
  • 8:40 AM โ€“ Quick stop at Longhouse Market & Deli
  • 9:20 AM โ€“ Arrive at Lake Angeles Trailhead
  • 9:30 AM โ€“ Begin hike
  • 12:30 PM โ€“ Lunch at the lake (approx. 45 mins)
  • 3:00 PM โ€“ Back to trailhead
  • ~6:00 PM โ€“ Return to Green Lake P&R

  • Snow Conditions: Possible snow at higher elevations - check recent trail reports before Sunday
  • Trail Conditions: Expect wet/muddy sections and potentially snowy conditions at higher elevations
