Happy Returns

February's meetup will take place at the Seattle offices of Foursquare, where the "startup vibe" is reportedly in full effect. Thanks to Mike Meyer for hosting and providing pizza and beverages.

We've got two agenda items for this month:

1. We'll hear from Mike Meyer about the history of the Seattle Foursquare office and its transition from Placed.

2. Last year the Shadowy Cabal wept bitter tears as Lucas Hall left the great Pacific Northwest to take on a new CPE gig at Slack. WELL, as it turns out, Lucas couldn't stay away, so this month will talk about Slack's Nebula, a scalable overlay networking tool with a focus on performance, simplicity and security that provides seamless connectivity between computers anywhere in the world.
