Book Club: The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years 🐫 👽

Book club is back with a new event! This book club is intended to highlight international, intersectional and overlooked writers and voices.

We will be discussing Kyrgyz/Soviet author Chinghiz Aitmatov's science fiction novel "The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years" (И дольше века длится день). The book was originally written in Russian, though you can read the book in any language you like! We'll be meeting at a Korochka Tavern in Wallingford for discussion, and then heading to a Central Asian restaurant nearby for dinner afterwards.
