Book club is back with a new event! This book club is intended to highlight international, intersectional and overlooked writers and voices.

We will be discussing Lebanese-French author Amin Maalouf's first novel, Leo Africanus (French: Lรฉon l'Africain), which follows the life and travels of Renaissance-era diplomat and author Leo Africanus, from Andalusia to Morocco and Egypt and Italy, and many other places in between. The book was originally written in French, though you can read the book in any language you like!

We'll be meeting at Stoup Brewing in Cap Hill for discussion, and then grabbing some Middle Eastern/North African food for dinner afterwards.

Multilingual book club is a safe space! ๐Ÿค— โ˜ฎ๏ธ No hate or discrimination of any kind will be tolerated during the discussion.
