Hallmarks of Aging - Primary Mechanisms

Welcome to our first ever meeting!

We will read the first section of Hallmarks of Aging: An Expanded Universe in Cell. You can download it for free with that link.

We will only discuss the introduction and the first section on "primary mechanisms" in this meeting. That includes pages 1-3, and pages 9-14 in the pdf linked above (only 9 pages!). That's up to and *not* including the section entitled "deregulated nutrient sensing".

Please make an effort to read the paper, but do not be deterred if you only have time to skim it or if there are parts you don't understand. Please come anyway, and we'll discuss!
