What we’re about
Welcome to the Seattle Millennials and Gen Z Meetup group! We’re an active, inclusive community :)
If you’re on Meetup, you’re probably hoping to make friends. That’s great! You should fit right in! We’d love to meet you. Our main activity is our weekly happy hour where we grab drinks at a bar and chat. This can sometimes involve karaoke, boardgames, or minigolf. Currently, our weekly happy hour alternates between being on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. We often have meetups on weekends as well. Our weekend activities have included hikes, kayaking, beach bonfires, festivals, wine tasting, and fruit picking. In addition to our official weekend meetups, many members will get together without an official meetup. For best results, show up to our weekly happy hour meetup and ask people about their plans for the weekend!
If you read our meetup’s name carefully, you’ll notice that our community is NOT strictly reserved for SINGLES!
That being said, if you ARE single, we ask that your primary motive at activities is to build new, lasting friendships. Members who are pushy or clingy or don’t give other members space will be asked to stop, then asked to leave. And it should go without saying that harassment (of any form) will not be tolerated.
We hope to see you soon!

See all- Oyster Harvest at Tolmie State ParkAngle Lake Station, SeaTac, WA
Description
Imagine embarking on a delightful oyster harvesting adventure at Tolmie State Park, where the serene waters and lush surroundings set the perfect backdrop for a memorable day. As you arrive, the crisp, salty air invigorates your senses, and the gentle lapping of the waves welcomes you to this hidden gem.
Equipped with your gear, you wade into the shallow waters, feeling the cool, refreshing touch of the bay. The excitement builds as you begin to uncover clusters of oysters nestled in the sand, their rough shells glistening under the sunlight. Each find is a small treasure, a testament to the bay’s rich marine life.
After gathering a bountiful haul of oysters, you turn your attention to clamming. Digging into the soft, wet sand, you unearth clams of various sizes, adding to your growing collection of fresh seafood. The camaraderie among your group makes the experience even more enjoyable, with laughter and shared discoveries at every turn.
As the sun begins to set, you gather around a cozy fire on the shore. The aroma of freshly shucked oysters and clams sizzling on the grill fills the air, mingling with the scent of the sea. You savor each bite, the briny sweetness of the oysters and the tender, succulent clams, perfectly complemented by a squeeze of lemon and a dash of hot sauce.Regulations:
