Synopsis: Years after fading from the public spotlight, three former child prodigies return home to see their estranged father.

The Tenenbaum family is brilliant—and completely dysfunctional. Set against ornate backgrounds and killer music, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS (2001) is about accepting family members as they are, even when they suck. Co-written with Owen Wilson, it was nominated for Best Original Screenplay and features an extraordinary cast including Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Ben Stiller, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bill Murray, Danny Glover, and Luke and Owen Wilson.

About the venue: This screening will be held at the UHeights Center, a community center housed in a 100-year-old former elementary school in the U District. The center fosters culture and lifelong learning through a wide range of classes and events.
