Synopsis: While trying to prove the safety of his groundbreaking invention, a scientist undergoes a horrific metamorphosis. Bzzz bzzz...

David Cronenberg’s 1986 remake of THE FLY is the definitive version and a great entry point for anyone wanting to get into body horror. Eccentric scientist Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) believes his groundbreaking invention is ready for human testing—and impulsively decides to try it on himself. What follows is grotesque, but also weirdly sweet.

The building is a 100-year-old bathhouse that was converted into a playhouse in 1970. It sits directly on the walking path that circles Green Lake.
