Synopsis: Remember, no man is a failure who has friends.
George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart) has always put others first. But his good deeds don't go unpunished, and on Christmas Eve he finds himself facing personal and financial ruin. Just when he is about to give up, a guardian angel appears offering him a new outlook on life. Frank Capra’s IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE is widely regarded as the greatest Christmas film ever made. It was also accused of being communist propaganda by the FBI. We’ll let you form your own opinions. And as an added bonus before the show, we’ll kick things off with a Christmas sing-along to get everyone in the holiday spirit!
About the venue: This screening is being held in an historic church that has been restored by Illume to serve as a hub for connection and community. A smorgasbord of delicious treats will be available for purchase: fresh popcorn, coffee and tea served in fine china, pastries, vanilla ice cream, root beer floats, cold brew floats and more!
