Seattle Nature Lovers Book Club - December Meetup

We will meet on Tuesday 12/9 for our second Nature Lovers Book Club meetup!

Book we’ll be discussing:
The Bear by Andrew Krivak

Where:
Cairde Public House Bar & Restaurant
701 5th Ave N #100, Seattle, WA 98109
Please purchase at least one thing (food, drink, n/a drink, etc.). Consuming alcohol is not required.

Planned schedule:
6-6:15pm - arrive, get settled, chit chat
6:15-7:45pm - book discussion
7:45-8pm - wrap up, final thoughts, chit chat
May go later depending on the conversation :)

Book overview (from Arts.gov):
The last two humans on Earth—a father and daughter—live off the land at the foot of a mountain, learning to live alongside the rhythms of a world reclaimed by nature. Then one day, the girl is alone: left only with the lessons her father taught her and the companionship of the vast wilderness.

Rules for meetup:
-Must read the book (at least 50%)
-Respectful attitude
-Interest in nature/ecology
-Must be 21+ (meeting in a bar)
