The 6th Annual Northwest Permaculture Convergence is being hosted in Forest Grove Oregon at Pacific University and B Street Living Museum August 2nd through 4th, 2013.
The Convergence will be a plethora of hands-on self-sufficiency workshops, low-impact community design, bio-regional organic farming techniques, children's activities, and skill-share demos! Over 500 enthusiasts are expected to attend.This is a grassroots non-profit event with full adult three day admission price at $70.00. Accommodations sold separately from Pacific University. Speakers include best-selling author and "Resillient Gardener" Carol Deppe, Don Tipping from Siskyou Seeds, Andrew Millison of Beaver State Permaculture, and local Shoulder events will precede and follow the main conference.
The NWPCC is a 501C(3) corporation and networking for this event is largely word of mouth and volunteer. The outreach team is attempting to attract practitioners and new recruits from all across Cascadia.
